Safety & compliance
How we keep drivers, other road users and your freight safe — and how we prove it when you audit us.
Fill this in before publishing. The accreditation and insurance panel is blank on purpose — these are claims with legal weight, so only your own current certificate details belong there.
Everyone goes home at the end of the shift
Heavy vehicles are the biggest risk this business carries, and we treat them that way. Drivers are backed to stop, rest, or refuse a job that cannot be done safely — no questions asked, no pressure from the allocation desk.
- Zero tolerance for speeding, drug and alcohol breaches
- Fatigue management applied to every driver on every run
- Loads weighed before departure and matched to the route's RAV rating
- Restraint to the National Load Restraint Guide, with gear inspected on a schedule
- Incidents investigated and shared as lessons across the fleet
What we ask of customers
Chain of Responsibility is shared. Four things make it much easier.
An understated weight can put a vehicle over its legal mass, which is an offence for both of us. If you are not sure, tell us and we will weigh it.
Pallets should be stable, wrapped and within the pallet footprint. Dangerous goods must be declared, classified and documented before pick-up.
If a deadline cannot be met legally we will say so at quoting time. Pressuring a carrier to beat a schedule that needs speeding or skipped rest breaks is a CoR breach.
Firm, level standing for loading, a safe exclusion zone, and someone available to receive the freight. Drivers will not unload into an unsafe area.
